A number of years ago I saw something on Scifi channel. It could have
been a movie or a hour tv program but id like to see it again. The
gist of it was people lived in a town and everyone was fairly well to
do. Then the main character met with a girl in a library who showed
him a book with a picture of a pipe the painting was called this is
not a pipe because it was not a pipe it was a picture of a pipe. It
was later revealed that there were two societies of people. One lived
in a virtual reality were everything had a bar code on it and the bar
codes were viewed as our luxury items... Tvs cars. Etc. The other
group lives in a city that programs everyone else's life. And
somehow this guy breaks free from it. Anyone ever see it?
