Musical movie featuring kids?

I remember this movie that came out around the year 2009 and it's
basically about kids that are trying to make it into stardom. I
remember this scene where this little girl was in it and she was
saying that she was gonna be the next star or someting like that. I
also remember this scene where a group of girls were dancing against
this group of guys on a boardwalk or something and they are dancing
and singing. Anyone know the name of the movie???
