Fox swaps 'Touch,' 'Bones' on sked

'Touch'Fox has shuffled its formerly introduced midseason schedule, switching nights for brand new drama "Touch" and coming back series "Bones." "Touch," that was initially scheduled for Mondays at 9 p.m. beginning March 19, continues to be sent packing to Thursday simultaneously beginning March 22. On April 2, "Bones" will proceed to Mondays at 8 p.m., delivering "House" to 9. The changes should provide a less competitive timeslot for "Touch," which got off and away to an encouraging begin with a preview airing recently. Now rather than rising against "2 . 5 Males," "DwtsInch and "The Voice," "Touch" will receive a relatively simpler berth at 9 p.m. in addition to a much more powerful lead-in courtesy "The American Idol Show.Inch "Touch" will not need to face CBS rookie drama "Person of great interestInch in the premiere because the Eye is going to be airing March Madness basketball action that evening. "House," that has less to get rid of from the tough Monday competish because of the network lately made the decision the medical drama will finish its run this year, will get a 2-hour sendoff on May 21. Additionally, Fox introduced it might break the rules its 25th anniversary special from April 1 to April 22. Contact Andrew Wallenstein at andrew.wallenstein@variety.com
