Franklin & Bash Summons Sean Astin for Superhero Duty

Sean Astin Even superheroes need lawyers, or at least the ones on Franklin & Bash do. Mark-Paul Gosselaar is engaged Sean Astin will play a college security guard by day, caped crime fighter named Viper by night on an upcoming Season 2 episode of Franklin & Bash, TVLine reports. He runs into trouble when he's accused of killing a culprit and turns to Jared Franklin and Peter Bash (Breckin Meyer, Mark-Paul Gosselaar) for help. The Lord of the Rings star joins Jane Seymour and Peter Weller as other upcoming Franklin & Bash guest stars. The second season will air in the summer of 2012.
